20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Back Story -
The members of Plus Ultra thought it would be a fair idea to honor Jules Verne some how. Knowing that Verne Emporium was nearby they decided to create a big experience so the residents of Tomorrowland could enter one of his novels. It has been tossed around to be Journey to the Center of the Earth or 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The remaining two members of Plus Ultra (Walt Disney and David Nix) held a public vote. What won was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Construction began on this ride with 3 main components. The first one being Nautilus Lagoon. Nautilus Lagoon is a lagoon that goes around Mount Prometheus. (From Space Mountain to the queue of the ride). The second main component was Mount Prometheus. Mount Prometheus would be used to have the ride stay hidden. Finally the last component was the ride it self. With Walt Disney's knowledge of theme parks, and attractions they decided to create it in a way similar to Peter Pan's Flight.
Upon opening the guests of Tomorrowland were thrilled. Not only did it create a representation for an underwater environment, but it brought fun to the city. Overtime 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was forgotten, and no one was allowed in by David Nix. However with the new Plus Ultra 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea has reopened to the public to delight everyone!

Location
The location of the attraction is on the former spot of the Tomorrowland Speedway. Mount Prometheus serves as the new back drop for Storybook Circus, and other parts of Fantasyland. Due to it's close proximity to Fantasyland Mount Prometheus will be smaller than before, and have a whimsical look to it similar to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Exterior -
Mount Prometheus towers over the nearby Seven Dwarfs Mine and Space Mountain. A mountain mad of weathered igneous rock with patches of grass and other small plants growing about. A large water fall comes pouring out of it, and into Nautilus Lagoon. Mount Prometheus truly is wondrous, and just like it's other Mountain brothers throughout the Kingdom it hosts an attraction. Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and now 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea finds a home inside the newest Mountain.
Running along some of the Mountain is the Nautilus Lagoon. A lagoon with rocks that have barnacles, and coral attached to them. Green algae covers the tops of the rock. Captain Nemo's submarine floats in the lagoon for all to see. At night a mysterious searchlight illuminates parts of the lagoon. From time to time the searchlight reveals coral reefs. Sometime deep sea creatures such as mermaids and squids will drop by for a visit as well.
The entry way to the attraction seems to have a Victorian flair to it. Large Victorian looking style metal beams goes over the queue. Hanging from the beams is lighting, some fans, and covers to provide shade. A Neptune Submarine is left hanging from the top of a metal beam that's ready to let the sub fall.

Guests go under a Victorian looking metal sign that shows the name of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and the entrances for the Fastpass+ and standby line. After passing the entrance sign guest will walk through the queue going under metal beams with lighting, misters, and shade. Eventually guests reach the main research point entrance. They begin to go down a spiral slope. In the center will be a machine similar to a crane. The crane will be carrying a Neptune submarine above the water. Eventually guests enter a cave.
The cave is the main research facility. Here there will be a boiler exposed to the guests. Every once in a while it squirts out water. Guests past various newspaper clippings, maps and equipment one will need to deep into the sea. Several of these maps and newspapers clippings will have references to other Jules Verne works such Around the World in 80 Days and Journey to the Center of the Earth. Several machine parts will also be scattered throughout the queue. Some of the machine parts will be parts of a car from the Tomorrowland Speedway.

Nearing the loading dock guests will pass by one more area. This last area will be Captain Nemo's newly established office to run the Neptune Submarine voyages. On his desk there will be several nondescript letters. A blueprint of the Nautilus, and the Neptune. A map of the parts of the ocean that the Neptune will visit. The last thing will be a letter from Harrison Hightower III. It will read to be a letter to join the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. Adjacent to that letter will be another letter from Pamela Perkins. This letter will read as a warning about Hightower. It also talks about how she feels she might lose the Adventurer's Club soon.
As guests leave the office are they finally reach the boarding docks.
