Ride Experience
Casey Newton : Welcome aboard The Tomorrowland Hover Rail sponsored by
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority. This is Casey Newton speaking your tour guide through Tomorrowland. So sit back and relax as we cruise through the city.
The hover rail leaves the station, and goes towards the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center.
Casey Newton : Coming up is the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center. It currently resides home to BEN-E and his time traveling machine. He invites all guests and residents of Tomorrowland to come and visit.
BEN-E : Hello humans! I'm currently in the Ice Age studying Wooly Mammoths. Come join me sometime!
Casey Newton : And now Plus Ultra would like to show off one of our fellow member's contributions. Here is Walt Disney's model of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Also known as EPCOT, and no its not the theme park we know today.
If interested in any shopping then you can visit Verne Emporium. Founded by the Plus Ultra founder Jules Verne.
At 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Tomorrowland officials decided to bring to life a classic story made by Ultra Plus founder Jules Verne.
The hover rail goes over Nautilus Lagoon and into Space Mountain.
Casey Newton : Were now entering Space Mountain. Here your invited to practice blasting off into outer space. Maybe one day with enough practice you too can join the Tomorrowland Astronauts. Looks like there sending us into hyper drive to not interfere with training. Hang on tight!
Similar to the Space Mountain launch tunnel blue lights go past the hover rail quickly. This technique gives off the illusion of a faster speed, but in reality it's the same speed as before.
Casey Newton : And were out of there! I was getting scared that a rocket was going to hit us. For a chance to try out the latest in hover technology visit Rocket Tower Plaza. I hear they still have vehicles from the 60's. The scientists say that it's more efficient. I think it won't stay like that for ever because if you can dream it you can do it.
We're now approaching The Carousel of Progress sponsored by Plus Ultra. Taken directly from the 1964 New York World's Fair this ride has been dubbed a Landmark by several Plus Ultra members including Walt Disney himself!
As guests go around The Carousel Theater It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow is played. The hover rail continues towards the show building of Galaxy Flight.
Announcer : Paging Mr Morrow. Mr Tom Morrow your rocket to Neptune leaves in five minutes.
The current display with an alien creature in a salon is replaced. Now standing there is a Repairbot repairing an Athena 64 Hoverer (Static Figures). This display is in front of a sign reading Eiffel Alley. The windows looking into Galaxy Flight/Buzz have been dismantled and replaced with a mural. This replacement comes from the Galaxy Flight budget, and not The Hover Rail's.
